Insulation

Oracle Garage Doors provides the best quality sectional garage door insulation on the market. Most sectional doors can be insulated with a base price of $450 supplied, custom cut & installed on-site. We use the thickest EPS insulation possible, which is an incredibly good insulator ( same material as used in cool rooms) whilst being lightweight. This is especially important for sectional garage doors as the panels and springs are specifically designed for a predetermined weight. Adding too much weight to the door will nullify the torsion springs ability to balance the door causing excessive strain on your opener and in some cases, bending / cracking of the panels.

Adding ANY weight to a garage door requires the springs to be retensioned and a motor reset performed. This is why it is important for both safety and longevity that only an experienced technician performs this task.
